IT Security Specialist Are you passionate about cybersecurity and ready to make a difference in protecting information and systems from evolving threats?  We’re looking for a collaborative and proactive IT Security Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll partner with diverse teams across the organization to strengthen our security posture while contributing to exciting, forward-thinking cybersecurity initiatives. Your Mission As an IT Security Specialist, you will monitor and respond to cyber threats, creating strategies to prevent, mitigate, and minimize their impact.  Working closely with the IT Security Operations team, you will design, implement, and maintain robust security solutions while building strong relationships with internal departments and external partners to ensure compliance with security standards. Your role will involve developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies that safeguard information assets and systems, staying informed on the latest cybersecurity trends, and embedding security practices into all aspects of our operations. Risk assessment and mitigation will be a key focus, as you identify vulnerabilities and create actionable solutions.  You will manage relationships with external security vendors, optimize the use of IT security tools, and lead investigations into suspicious activities to provide proactive IT security services.  Additionally, you will support initiatives such as IT audits, onboarding new security technologies, and enhancing threat intelligence capabilities, contributing to long-term strategic cybersecurity projects that will shape our organization’s future. Your Profile To succeed in this role, you should have a solid background in IT security, with relevant experience and expertise.  Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems is important, along with knowledge of authentication, ethical hacking, incident response, cloud security, and application security.  Strong communication skills in English are essential, as you will need to explain complex topics clearly and work collaboratively across teams.  A curious, independent, and organized approach to work, combined with a supportive and team-oriented attitude, will make you an excellent fit for this role. Location and travel Role´s location canbe  in Örebro or Stockholm (Sweden), Perth (Australia), or Garland (USA). Regardless of location, you’ll collaborate with a global team dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the field of IT security.
