We are a growing company dedicated to creating high-performance, transaction-intensive cloud-based environments for the gambling and betting industry. Our team consists of experienced professionals from some of the largest players in the industry, all driven by a shared goal: to take a new approach to gambling software, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies to redefine what’s possible.

Our team of around 50 people is spread across central Stockholm and Malta. We are now looking to expand with an experienced Test Engineer who can bring both technical skills and a proactive mindset to our collaborative team.

As a Test Engineer, you will work closely with our development team, currently comprising 16 people across frontend, backend, and DevOps. Your responsibilities will span frontend and backend testing, with opportunities to contribute to DevOps tasks. This is not a traditional QA role; we’re looking for someone who thrives on breaking systems, identifying weaknesses, and improving overall quality in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Here’s what we’d like you to bring:

• Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with test frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
  • Strong coding abilities in Java and JavaScript (other languages are a bonus).
  • Familiarity with system-level testing, including frontend, API, and integration testing.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments and Linux-based systems (AWS is a plus).
  • Experience with event-driven systems and tools like Kafka.
• Operational and Development Knowledge:
  • Understanding of the full development lifecycle, from build to deploy.
  • Experience with monitoring, reading logs, and drilling down into databases to troubleshoot.
  • Insight into release processes, including building, testing, deploying, and releasing software.
• Mindset and Personality:
  • You’re a problem-solver who thrives on challenges and has a knack for testing and breaking systems.
  • You focus on the bigger picture, considering both technical and business requirements.
  • Pragmatic, with good judgment on what needs to be tested and when to prioritize speed.
  • Collaborative, humble, and driven to constantly improve both yourself and the team.
