We are currently looking for a Power systems engineer for our client in Ludvika. This client is a pioneering technology leader and are working to advance the world’s energy system to be more sustainable, flexible, and secure. About the position Power systems engineering includes the planning, design, development, testing, installation, and co-ordination of related activities involving HV electrical systems and the main components. It also co-ordinates activities internally and with other groups to effectively accomplish objectives requiring knowledge of associated functions and related engineering fields. Use computers and selected programs for such matters as preparing reports and conducting analyses, e.g., cable calculations. Follow specific instructions of supervisor or senior engineers to perform the less complex professional assignments requiring application of standard engineering principles and practices. • Hours per week: 40h • Assignment period: 2025-01-15 to 2026-01-14 • Employment type: Fixed term employment • Location: Ludvika Responsibilities • As a Project Engineer, you will work mainly with electrical design of main circuit equipment in projects with medium to high complexity. • Collaborate with the Supply Chain function to ensure that technical requirements for equipment are communicated and agreed with potential suppliers. • Witness tests of equipment and participate in commissioning on site and provide technical evaluation of supplier proposals and accept as fit for purpose supplied equipment. • Collaborate with system design, mechanical design, and control for continuous improvement. Interact directly with customers and suppliers as well as work in project teams where technical coordination within scope and technical problem solving is part of the role. • Attend project meetings and present specific aspects of engineering assignments. • Maintain network of engineering professionals and share engineering best practice across different projects and disciplines. Your profile Minimum requirements of education and experience: • 0-2 years of work experience within the relevant field, and a bachelor’s degree or • Another technical degree with less than 10 years of work experience within the relevant field. • Working command of the English language Please apply by registering your CV here on our website.
