Stream Project Manager
About the role
Do you want to be part of the technological shift we are driving at Volvo Group and lead projects where we develop our future electric system? Then you might be our new Senior Stream Lead / Project Manager! You will be responsible for projects within Vehicle Motion & Thermal Management, working cross-functionally. We are developing the complete thermal management systems, braking, steering, and vehicle motion systems for all Volvo Group business areas. This includes both electrical HW and SW.
The role has a broad perspective, from concept development in the early phases to managing planning, development, and delivery in the later phases. The main focus will be on planning and delivery. You will work closely with our system architects, EPIC owners and product owners, who are responsible for the technical development. Additionally, you will be part of the Vehicle Technology Solution team for the specific project.
Your main responsibilities will be:
· Managing time plans, scope, cost, and quality, and working with project and product risk management
· Leading the work to ensure robust risk mitigation plans, securing business value in delivery
· Managing a specific area/project according to set targets and business objectives
· Leading cross-functional teams and working in close dialogue with vehicle teams
· Taking an active role in improving ways of working to maximize customer value output
· Securing an efficient information flow within the project to all concerned engineers

Requirements:
· Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent
· Experience in project management and/or line management
· Experience in software development
· Experience in the automotive industry
· Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
· Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
· Strong drive and high energy level with the ability to contribute to creating a high-performing working culture
Meritorious
· Certification in Project Management and/or Agile ways of working
· CAST (Common Architecture and Shared Technology) driven
