All about the role:
As software is playing an increasingly significant role in enabling digital consumer experiences, we are gearing up to become more agile, faster in responding to market demands and quicker in identifying new market opportunities.
This involves elevating our appliances to digital, software-defined products in a seamless integration with Electrolux cloud connectivity platform and mobile apps.
We're looking for a Staff Cybersecurity Architect, Cloud Connectivity, to join us on our journey.
What you'll do:
Contribute to defining secure architecture of Electrolux Cloud Connectivity platform; formulate and evangelize long-term cybersecurity and privacy strategy in the domain of Cloud Connectivity.
In detail, you will:
- Formulate and assure application of cybersecurity and privacy guardrails and best practices in software architecture, development, operation and maintenance within the Cloud Connectivity domain; including hands-on cybersecurity review of Electrolux services and infrastructure deployed in AWS and/or Azure, as well as of supporting tools, systems and processes.
- Carry out cybersecurity reviews and propose architecture improvements; promote and ensure security by design by working together with the whole organization
- Domain Architects, Engineers, Developers and Product Managers.
- Identify and communicate current and emerging Cybersecurity threats and Cybersecurity and Privacy gaps in existing and proposed cloud services architecture, recommend remedies or enhancements.
- Engage with Cybersecurity stakeholders in formulation of long-term cybersecurity and privacy strategy in the domain of Cloud Connectivity; drive compliance to standards and group policies and track, evangelize, and promote cybersecurity best practices.
Who you are:
- You must have strong understanding of core cybersecurity principles, IoT-systems architecture, security in TCP/IP networks and virtualization in cloud ecosystems.
- You have deep hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS required, Azure is an advantage), their cybersecurity and privacy aspects (e.g. access management; data protection; secure modes of operation, deployment and maintenance; API security; Secrets Management etc.) and their secure use in IoT scenarios.
- You have a good understanding of access control (authentication and authorization), related principles (least privilege, resource granularity) and methods and protocols (RBAC, OAuth2.0, OIDC); isolation (e.g. virtualization, containerization, K8s), PKI, cryptographic primitives and their use, as well as of the secure development lifecycle.
- Expertise is necessary in some of the advanced cybersecurity and privacy topics: data protection at rest and in transit; identity and access management; security threat modelling and risk assessment; vulnerability management; cybersecurity testing; cybersecurity and privacy best-practices and regulations (OWASP, NIST, CRA).
- Experience with Agile development methods and tools such as Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) an advantage; You are familiar with CI-CD approach and tools (Jenkins, CircleCI).
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity aspects of digital product development; Master's Degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering, or comparable experience.
PhD and/or cybersecurity specialization, is a plus.
AWS or Azure Architect or Security certifications an advantage.

Where you'll be:
This is a full-time position, based at our Global Headquarters in Stockholm/Stadshagen (Sweden).
We may also consider exceptional candidates for Warsaw (Poland) or Porcia (Italy).
