In Range Operations we create optimal preconditions for the business and people to design, develop and manage the IKEA range offer in a connected and optimized IKEA value chain – to deliver growth and enable low cost. Specialist Functions, being one of the departments in Range Operations, host several assignments connected to specialists. We monitor and develop requirements, offer test capacity to our suppliers and act as a toolbox for early product development in our development lab and in physical and digital prototyping.
We are now looking for 2 new Requirement & Compliance Developers to join our team.
As a Requirement & Compliance Developer within Customs and Trade you will lead projects within the requirement and regulatory area and the deployment of requirements that enable all dimensions of compliance across the IKEA value chain.
The role also includes responsibility to lead requirement topics connected to Customs and Trade. You will also be Responsible to lead execution of compliance related activities as project leader, including analysis, business consequences, stakeholder management and communication.
You will also contribute to influencing new and existing legislations and regulations.
This assignment is very diverse and requires that you enjoy working within a large perspective. It is a challenging and rewarding role and means you will be co-operating with many different groups of people, like IKEA product development teams, Retail, Suppliers and external trade groups.
As a Requirement & Compliance Developer you enjoy working together with others, building network and sharing knowledge. You have strong will to influence and to make a difference. You need to have good knowledge in project management and also ability to analyze, assess and interpret complex subjects and identify needed actions. You have a background within Customs and Trade.
Since you will be working on a global arena, we believe you have excellent communication skills both spoken and written English.
This is permanent role based in Älmhult.
