What you will do
Entertainment and Connected Services:
We are looking for a Verification Engineer for the Entertainment Verification team. Here you will work with our KanBan team (scrum/KANBAN - mythology) that performs FULL system verification (End to End) on both rigs and vehicles for the Vehicle Entertainment and Connected Service products.
Your main tasks are to develop test methods (primarily - manually executed but also some automation), perform integration work, develop simulations and verify the Entertainment and Connected Services products on system level. You might also be part of automation, writing enablers for the framework and developing python scripts for automation. You will also be responsible for a couple of E2E functions as the Verification function owner.
* Performing verification on a full system level and/or Embedded SW
* Developing and improve test methods and tools
* Performing exploratory testing on the entertainment product
* Improving test environment and hands-on work with test rigs
* Developing simulations
* Documenting test methods
* Developing test scripts for automating the manual tests.
* Being responsible for a couple of E2E function as Verification function owner
Who are you?
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Experience from verification work in distributed embedded system
* Relevant experience in verification tool chains (e.g Vector CAN tools, CANoe).
* It's good to have experience with test tools, CI/CD, GIT GERRIT and test framework - i.e. API test, stress test, API automation test, web and mobile UI automation test, etc
* Analytic skills, but also comfortable taking a technical discussion with SW developer or architect
* Well spoken and written English
It is meritorious if you have knowledge or skills in:
* Master’s degree in electronics / computer engineering or equivalent education
* Experience of Volvo AB
* Truck driving license
* Jira
* System weaver
* Python
* Telematics and Infotainment market knowledge
