Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on
- Develop and support Java-based solutions for the UK Credit Card project, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable performance.
- Implement security features including OAuth 2.0 flows, OIDC, and SAML, as well as token management and web authentication protocols (ABAC, RBAC).
- Leverage tools like Gradle, JUnit, Jenkins, and SonarQube to ensure code quality, build automation, and continuous integration.
- Utilize AWS services (Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, KMS, IAM, EKS, CloudWatch, Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge) to build secure, cloud-based infrastructure and manage configurations.
- Support frontend elements in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance servlet-based applications and ensure seamless interaction.
- Work with Serverless Framework and Docker for streamlined deployment and containerized application management.
What you bring
- Proven experience in Java development with a solid foundation in object-oriented programming and software security.
- Expertise in implementing authentication and authorization protocols, including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and related token management.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, Secrets Manager, and EKS, and familiarity with serverless architecture.
- Familiarity with development tools and CI/CD pipelines, including Gradle, JUnit, Jenkins, and SonarQube.
- Basic frontend development skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for application interfacing.
- Experience with Serverless Framework and Docker to support modern, containerized applications.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of Node.js and Python, and experience working with Curity and ELK stack.
