In Valmet’s Pulp & Energy business line we serve a wide variety of customers around the world with for example complete pulp mills, heat and power generation solutions and environmental protection systems. We are now looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to work on capital and rebuild projects. Your preferred Valmet office location is Sundsvall, other Swedish locations (Karlstad or Gothenburg) can be considered. Our Global Quality Assurance team ensures that our project delivery meets the quality requirements to satisfy the customer, authorities and our own high standards.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, your main tasks include:

You will have a lot of cooperation across the organization globally, as well as contacts with customers, suppliers, and authorities in different countries.

Our expectations
We expect you to have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a suitable field. You have several years of experience in engineering, manufacturing or inspections of machinery and pressure equipment. You have also experience in quality assurance in manufacturing or project business, and knowledge of Machinery and Pressure Equipment Directives. NDT (non-destructive testing) and welding knowledge are strongly appreciated.
Your personal characteristics include good communication skills, flexibility, and that you are self-propelled with the ability to take initiatives. You can co-operate in multi-cultural environment and are fluent in English, both written and spoken. You should also be able to travel internationally.
