Your role We are seeking a Senior Business Controller to join our dynamic finance team. This role will play a critical part in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making at Saab. As a key strategic partner to senior leadership, you will be responsible for providing financial insights, driving business performance, and leading improvements across both financial and commercial areas of the company, ensuring efficient resource allocation. In this position, you will actively participate in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with commercial teams to identify and implement strategies that enhance profitability and cash flow. You will be a part of a team within Group Finance; Corporate Control with the task to improve and strengthen Business Control within the Saab Group. We work together in the team with clear responsibilities and mandate to make decisions within our own areas but as a team we discuss and take common decisions on questions that arise within our function. We drive several efficiency and renewal projects within Finance striving for a more common and efficient way of follow up our business. Your profile To thrive in this role, you are a business-oriented person with great communication skills, good self-management skills and can handle many parallel tasks. You are used to support the business and management in several areas and willing to walk an extra mile to get things done. You are expected to be close to the business operations and understand the challenges we have in our business. You are structured and have an analytical mind-set enabling you to adapt to different circumstances. You have the ability to build trust and commitment with your clients and colleagues. Required skills: * Bachelor of Finance or equivalent * Extensive experience from working within Business Control * Commercial experience * Experience of change management * Fluent in English both verbally and in writing * Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, verbally and in writing A background within commercial management and experience of being in a leading role, is a plus for this position. This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection.
