ABC Labs is on a mission to transform the substance abuse screening industry by introducing a comprehensive solution tailored for European workplaces.  The aim is to redefine the standards and practices in this critical field. Our goal is to streamline the entire chain of substance abuse testing through integrated sampling, advanced laboratory analysis, and precise result evaluation services.

We are currently seeking a dedicated medical doctor with expertise in laboratory medicine and drug screening to join our dynamic team. Your role will be essential in achieving our ambitious vision and will include

Responsibilities

• Analyzing Laboratory Results: Review and interpret laboratory results, specifically laboratory tests results related to drug and alcohol screening.
• Consultation with Healthcare Providers: Provide expert advice and consultation to other healthcare professionals, employers and  regarding test results and their clinical implications.
• Reporting: Act as a subject matter expert with the software developer team to develop the reporting software to customers. 
• Quality Control & Regulatory Compliance: In collaboration with Head of Quality Assurance, ensure laboratory operations comply with all relevant regulations and standards. From a medical point of view, implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of laboratory tests.
• Research and Development: Conduct and participate in clinical research to develop new laboratory tests and improve existing ones.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments and specialists to ensure integrated and comprehensive care.
• Innovation Implementation: Together with lab scientists and lab chemists, integrate new technologies and methods into the laboratory to enhance diagnostic capabilities and efficiency.
• Troubleshooting: Complement the expertise of the lab scientists, chemists and technicians to identify and resolve issues with laboratory tests and equipment when medical expertise is needed.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD)
• Specialized training or fellowship in Toxicology, Clinical Chemistry or Clinical Pharmacology.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Previous experience in drug screening and toxicology testing.
• Proven track record of managing and interpreting complex laboratory tests.
