Services Supply Network within Tetra Pak Services has the task to design and implement the best fit supply process from supplier to end user, to increase availability and service level, reduce cost and optimise stock levels. As part of this organisation, Services Supply Network Europe works to secure the service level to our European customers and that our delivery meets our customer requests.

Our warehouse in Lund consists of approximately 100 persons divided into four teams. One team is working in the receiving area and the other three in the outgoing area. We are the main supplier of spare parts to our filling equipment spread all over the world. The role of the department is to perform and improve the physical distribution of the spare parts. We work to deliver in full, on time, error free and without damage.

We are seeking a dedicated Shift Manager to lead our outbound logistics operations in Lund. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring timely deliveries and operational efficiency, while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace environment. You will be based in Lund, Sweden and report to the Manager Outbound Logistics. This is a permanent position.

What you will do

As Shift Manager, you will:

  • Lead Operations: Oversee daily operations, ensuring on-time and complete deliveries while serving as the primary point of contact for your shift.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement strategies to enhance service quality and operational efficiency, including equipment performance and maintenance.
  • Promote Innovation: Participate in the implementation of digital tools and automation to streamline processes.
  • Ensure Safety Standards: Maintain a safe work environment by always ensuring adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.
  • Manage Projects: Contribute to warehouse projects such as expansions and layout changes to optimize operations.
  • Reduce Discrepancies: Drive efforts to minimize outbound discrepancies, ensuring excellence in operational performance.

We believe you have

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, preferably managing blue-collar employees within a production or logistics environment.
  • Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles is highly desirable.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and IT skills, including proficiency in Power BI or similar data tools.
  • Safety Awareness: A proactive approach to workplace safety.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate team members.
  • Team Orientation: A collaborative mindset with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and verbal.
