Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Plan on-site project activities in collaboration with the Project Manager, ensuring necessary resources, equipment, and milestones are established.
- Oversee the assigned site area from handover by the customer until project completion, coordinating all on-site activities for successful start-up, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Act as the project representative on-site, fostering effective relationships with customers and local stakeholders.
- Ensure the correct handling, storage, and installation of equipment and materials to prevent damage; promptly report received goods to project logistics.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for each work package, ensuring compliance with the project health and safety plan.
- Train all on-site resources and proactively promote health and safety considerations among project partners.
- Control project costs related to site work, monitor actual spending against forecasts, and estimate final costs.
- Update and maintain project documentation, ensuring the document handling system is current and used appropriately for on-site construction.
- Manage subcontractors on-site to ensure quality and progress meet delivery deadlines and agreed standards.
- Provide regular reports to the Project Manager regarding site activities, HSE (health, safety, environment), quality, progress, and costs.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent skills.
- Several years of experience as a Site Manager in the construction and/or installation sector.
- Strong understanding of transmission regulations and current HSE legislation.
- Proven leadership skills with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication abilities.
- Proactive and flexible personality, capable of adapting to project needs.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Swedish and proficiency in English.
- BAS P and BAS U competencies are advantageous.
