We are looking for a colleague to join the core team for the newly established TRATON Optimization Centre.

The Optimization Centre

The Optimization Centre is a strategic initiative designed to optimize global material flows and capacity distribution. Our mission is to drive cost savings and operational efficiencies across the TRATON group.

Initially focused on strategic transmission parts, the Optimization Centre aims to expand its scope to cover a wider range of components once stability is achieved. This expansion will require the development and refinement of current tools and processes, as well as the facilitation of new global material flows.

Trailing the way for the upcoming scale-up, the Optimization Centre will consist of six cross-functional resources, supported by an expert group, striving to deliver long-term success in securing global flows in the most cost-efficient way for TRATON.

Purpose and Responsibilities

We are looking for a driven Business Developer who is prepared to shape and develop the role as we move forward into a strengthened TRATON cooperation.

The Business Developer, will play an important role in the establishment and development of processes, as well as in realizing cost savings through implementation of strategies based on the core team’s analyses. The role will also include mitigation of risks, identification of long-term opportunities, and supporting ongoing escalations through project planning and follow-ups.

In the establishment phase, the Business Developer will be responsible for collecting and managing cross-brand data, executing optimizations within the developed systems, and analysing the result of the output.

As we aim to increase the synergies within the group through organizational alignment, the Business Developer will manage a cross-brand decision forum, and ensure that well-informed decisions are taken based on the optimized results.

Together with the team, the Business Developer will investigate requests and drive cross-functional development processes to support the expansion the scope of the Optimization Centre.

Experience and Qualifications

  • A holistic business perspective and an understanding of how different actions will impact organizations
  • A proven track record of successfully deploying process or strategies
  • Broad experience in data-driven analytics, such as Power BI, Power Query or similar systems. Experience from ERP-systems such as SAP is an advantage
  • Experience from End-to-End supply chain processes and extensive
  • cross-functional cooperation. Operational experience from global logistics or procurement is a plus
  • Communication skills that are suitable for stakeholders on all levels
  • Ability to influence others to drive continuous improvements
  • Adequate university degree
