We are excited to offer a permanent position within the Graphene Flagship Dissemination Team at Chalmers University of Technology- Department of Physics. As a Project Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the organization of Graphene Flagship events while contributing to communication and dissemination efforts. About the Graphene Flagship The Graphene Flagship is one of the largest research initiatives funded by the European Commission, aiming to transition graphene and related materials from academic research to tangible applications that benefit European society. The program fosters collaboration between academic and industrial researchers, driving economic growth, job creation, and new business opportunities. Chalmers University of Technology coordinates the Graphene Flagship, overseeing project management, coordination, and dissemination activities. Job description This is a full-time, permanent position within the Dissemination Team. You will collaborate closely with the communication team to help plan and execute a wide range of in-person and digital events. Your key responsibilities will include: • Coordinating Graphene Flagship events, both physical and digital, with tasks such as participant outreach, material preparation, and logistics management. • Assisting in the setup of digital event registrations, attendee communications, and post-event surveys. • Supporting the maintenance and updates of the Graphene Flagship website. • Providing general logistical and communication support for the Dissemination Team. Your profile We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications: • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with a strong command of the English language. • Organized and self-motivated, able to efficiently support a variety of tasks. • Ability to multitask and adapt to new challenges quickly. • Experience with general website maintenance (knowledge of Umbraco CMS is a plus but not required). • Proficient in Office 365 tools, including Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel. • Prior experience in supporting event organization. • Familiarity with large multinational research projects and dissemination activities.
