Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Systems Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Manage and operate a state-of-the-art trading platform, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Oversee incident resolution, respond to operational issues, and manage the release of new software versions.
• Conduct non-functional and performance testing, along with executing recovery procedures for different system releases.
• Implement changes and improvements to existing systems, and design new solutions to meet evolving business needs.
• Participate in strategic projects aimed at enhancing and introducing new products and functionalities.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing insights on operational requirements and addressing technical queries.
• Maintain comprehensive operational documentation to support second-line operations.
• Manage and execute tasks independently within large-scale implementation projects.

What you bring:

• Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience in DevOps, System Administration, Network, Application Operations, or similar roles.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and experience with databases like SQL.
• Familiarity with Cloud Computing, Containerization (e.g., Docker), and Container Orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a high-pressure, client-centric environment with a strong personal drive and initiative.
