As we expand our MES Support and Maintenance organization, we're now seeking a committed Application Specialist.  In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring effective implementation, support and maintenance of our MES application portfolio. Join our team Manufacturing Execution System (MES) is a new area within Epiroc and part of Industry 4.0. The first go-live takes place this autumn and we have an exciting roadmap of future projects both with new functionality and new site rollouts. With that, we now continue building our MES Support and Maintenance organization. Your mission As an Application Specialist for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), you will be supporting our businesses and ensuring the efficient use of MES solutions. Reporting directly to the MES Manager, you will be a key member of our team, contributing with knowledge of business use cases and related processes as well as application know-how to efficiently: * Validate business needs and requirements to ensure all deliverables meet high-quality standards. * Manage and resolve incidents from business users according to SLA and incident process. * Engaging with business key/super users regarding MES solution to gather feedback and identify improvements. * Develop and maintain best practices and training materials for end users, and share knowledge through workshops and training sessions. * Coordinate and execute validation activities within projects and CPI according to the validation process.  Your profile To thrive in this role, you bring excellent problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and a talent for documentation. You excel in collaborative environments, working seamlessly with colleagues and customers to create a positive workplace atmosphere. Your proactive and service-oriented nature ensures you consistently deliver an outstanding end-user experience. To be successful in this role, you should have a university degree covering areas such as Manufacturing or IT or equivalent working experience. You bring hands-on experience with any MES/MOM systems and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. Familiarity with ITIL processes, such as Incident Management, Service Request Fulfillment, Problem Management, and Change Management, is essential. Given the global nature of the role, effective communication skills and fluency in both spoken and written English are required. Location and travel This position is located in Örebro, Sweden.
