We consider Bally’s Interactive to be a tech company first and a gaming company second, so it should come as no surprise that we consider our Technology team to be the beating heart of the business. Our team is the driving force behind the powerful platforms that house all Bally’s Interactive brands and ventures. The incredibly diverse talents that make up our Technology teams include disciplines and skills such as Software Development, Architecture, QA, and Machine Learning.

This is not a remote role.

We're looking for someone who:

• Passionate about Developing Solutions: You should be enthusiastic about creating high-quality software.
• Eager to Listen and Learn: You are open-minded, curious, and always willing to learn new technologies and methodologies.
• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript: You have strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experienced with Modern JavaScript Frameworks: You have worked with at least one major JavaScript framework, preferably Vue.js. Experience with others like React or Angular is a plus.
• Knowledgeable in PHP and MySQL: You have a solid understanding of PHP and MySQL, with experience in building and maintaining backend systems.
• Familiar with Java or Willing to Learn: You have knowledge of Java or are eager and quick to learn it.
• Experienced with Git: You are comfortable using Git for version control and collaboration.

So, what will you be doing?

• Collaborate within an Agile Team: You will work as part of an Agile team to design, develop, and deliver new features and improvements.
• Engage in Code Reviews and Pair Programming: Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback. Engage in pair programming sessions to enhance code quality and share knowledge.
• Write and Maintain Tests: Ensure your code is robust and reliable by writing and maintaining unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
• Adhere to Best Engineering Practices: Follow industry best practices in software development, including writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Automate Processes: Automate repetitive tasks and workflows wherever possible to improve efficiency and reliability.
