All about the role:

The overall scope for the Product Director, Appliance Platform is to drive the strategy and execution of the domain’s product areas. This includes creating roadmaps, lead and select software and hardware frameworks, chipsets, operating systems for all relevant Product Lines and Business Areas globally. Working in collaboration with the Engineering Director for the domain, taking product from definition to implementation, usage and ultimately scalable unit economy. The scope and execution spans all Connected Experiences within Taste, Care and Wellbeing appliances across Electrolux Group and towards our future visions.

The Product Director Appliance Platform will report to VP Digital Product and co-lead the Domain with the Engineering Director, Appliance Platform counterpart and be part of the cross-functional leadership of the scaled agile organization, Digital Experience, building future connected experiences and ecosystems at Electrolux.

What you’ll do:

· Drive the vision, strategy and Roadmap for the Product Areas within your domain. This role is at the core of user and data-driven software product development and hardware / software integration at Electrolux.

· You will enable a superior consumer experience by leading and building a highly motivated cross-functional product teams. You will influence the Tech Strategy by contributing with deep user, market and unit economy perspectives. Together with your Engineering Director counterpart you will constitute the Domain leadership duo.

· You will shape and cultivate the Domain and Product Areas to support the next generation of appliances at Electrolux, where software plays an integral role in future value creation. Being part of the totality together with Digital Twin product and various clients (such as global apps, voice, etc). You will drive a modern agile mindset, leadership and way of working in the Domain and together with the Head of Engineering in the Domain leadership. Together creating a world-class software product driven organization able to solve complex business and strategy problems towards value creation and positive unit economy which includes both software and chipset.

· You will drive the strategic frameworks for product areas included in the Domain, and drive alignment at scale across Domains, such as Product Vision, Roadmapping, OKR process, Demo-culture, QBR meetings and other relevant senior management. stakeholder alignment needs. You will ensure a product perspective is applied in all product teams in the Domain, over time balancing strategic direction, user needs, new functionality proposals, scalable unit economy, security and usability towards value creation.

· Together with leadership counterparts, you remove roadblocks, politics in the shift of ways of working, bottlenecks and constantly iterate operations to improve efficiency. You will inspire, mentor, align and motivate product teams in the Domain when developing towards the products vision. You will drive the domain’s evolution of vision, strategy and key business processes in collaboration with peers and senior stakeholders.

· Build, motivate, grow and develop talent to become role models and ambassadors for creating company wide change.

Who you are:

· Preferred 10+ years of experience from software product management of which at least 5+ years from working with developing and scaling embedded software products, OS and chipsets, technology solutions though the lifecycle

· Have had a leading role in teams creating consumer products (including electronics) and can demonstrate knowledge from all part of the products life cycle

· Preferred 5+ years of documented experience in building, scaling and leading high-performing cross-functional teams to solve complex problems using agile practices

· Experience in modern product management practices such as Scrum, Product road mapping, Discovery, OKR framework, QBR process, Unit Economy as well as traditional project processes

· Experienced leader with ambition and track record to bring out the best in teams and people.

· Experience in leading product teams with end-to-end accountability of quantified outcomes

· Academic degree

· Experience from large international organizations with different cultures and geographically distributed teams

Where you'll be:

This is a full-time position, based at our Global Headquarters in Stockholm/Stadshagen (Sweden) or in Porcia, Forlì or Susegana (Italy).
