As the Nordic Cluster Contract Manager, you will lead and oversee the contract management operations across the Nordic cluster of GPQSS business units in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. Reporting to the Regional Head of Contract Management Europe.

This role is critical in ensuring that all contract management activities align with organizational policies, legal requirements, and business objectives. You will be responsible for negotiating high-value contracts and leading a team of contract management professionals.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team of contract managers within the Nordic Cluster and ensuring professional growth and adherence to best practices.
  • Make sure that all majors claims are identified and capture within the appropriate tools and escalated to the business.
  • Implement contract management standards, procedures, and efficiencies across the cluster.
  • Support the sales team, leads the reviews and comments on commercial, technical tender terms and conditions and any necessary task during the tendering stage (e.g. risk reviews, qualification documents)
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and business development departments to ensure contract terms are favorable and comply with all statutory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze contractual risks and opportunities, providing strategic advice to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, statutory regulations, and other formalities.
  • Conduct regular audits of existing contracts and oversee the resolution of disputes and renegotiations of contract terms as necessary.
  • Implement and utilize technology solutions to streamline contract management processes.
  • Represent the organization in external negotiations and at professional conferences and seminars.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, JD) preferred.
  • Extensive experience in contract management, legal, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing a team.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, procurement, and project management.
  • Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset and problem-solving approach.
  • Experience in implementing contract management software and systems.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent English skills.
