About the role

Hasselblad R&D is a joint department which consists of teams based on specific technical fields: hardware, software, image quality, optics, mechanics and QA/test. Each team not only runs its daily operations independently, but also collaborates with the other teams as well as different sites and partners around the globe. Hasselblad projects are stimulating and challenging, and they often work with the latest technology and are equipped with incredibly delightful and competent colleagues who have the highest quality in mind.

We are now looking for a driven and innovative Senior Hardware Engineer to join their R&D hardware team located at Hasselblad headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden. For this role, we are expecting you to be comfortable with international collaborations and have proven experience in module and project responsibilities. You need to have a business owner mindset and be able to lead a small Hardware team consisting of three people. There will be a lot of cooperation with our own internal Firmware team, as well as close contact with our teams in Asia.

Qualifications
  • Experienced user of Cadence PCB design tools (e.g. OrCAD)
  • Experienced HW architect
  • Extensive know-how in analog and digital design
  • Long experience of measurements in a well-equipped lab
  • Understanding of layout work
  • Knowledge of EMC
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
