We believe that teamwork and collaboration are the foundation of great products and an attractive workplace.   About our team: We are a team of highly skilled professionals, who share a passion for technology and developing products that make a difference for the Volvo Group’s customers and society.  Our dedicated team defines the strategies for the diagnostics system in battery and fuel cell electrical vehicles. We are ensuring that our product fulfills the legal diagnostics requirements such as CARB Zero Emission Powertrain On-Board Diagnostics requirement.    Our broad diversity fosters an inclusive and supportive atmosphere. Common tasks for our team include diagnostic systems design, legal OBD diagnostic requirements, technical documentation, testing and data analytics. The expectations are high, and therefore we need to get you on board to further strengthen our capacity.    About the role and who we seek: We are looking for a colleague that can lead the work to secure our compliancy with legal On-Board Diagnostics requirements for zero emission propulsion systems . Stay up to date in regard to On-Board Diagnostics legal requirements, ensuring our compliance stay up-to-date and compliant. Analyze and break down legal requirements, distribute them internally across both component and organizational levels. In addition, serve as the primary point of contact for all diagnostic-related matters, providing expertise and guidance as needed.  To be successful in this position you need to be a team player and a problem solver. You are communicative, have good technical skills and are curious about learning new things. As a person we believe that you have a solution and result oriented attitude.   To be able to take on this challenge successfully we believe that you will possess the following skills and competencies:   •    Bachelor/ Master of Science in Engineering or similar.   •    Minimum of 4 years of experience in On-Board Diagnostics. •    Experience with diagnostics legal requirements and certification in electrical/conventional powertrain diagnostics. •    Diagnostics and CAN-communication experience   •    Fluent in both written and spoken English.   •    Experience of teamwork with good collaboration skills.  Meritorious experience:   •    Electric vehicle propulsion development experience.   •    Requirement handling tools. •    Previous experience in embedded software-development, incl.
