If you seek to make a difference on a global scale, working with next-gen technologies and the sharpest collaborative teams, then we could be a perfect match.  We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in the SW factory / Continuous Integration area. In this position one will work in the team responsible for the Powertrain Engineering SW Factory. One will be expected to specify, design, develop, verify and maintain our Software tool-chain and centralized software continuous integration infrastructure used by our Software Teams worldwide. One will also contribute to a world class Embedded software solutions enabling new capabilities in our in-house designed Basic SW (including actuators/sensors, diagnostic, scheduling, communication, injections and more). We are working with autonomous agile teams, who take full responsibility for their deliveries. You will join a dynamic team with the target to develop the most efficient embedded software framework, which is used by more than 300 application software engineers around the world when developing software features for our customers. In other words we are a team delivering great products/enablers for our customer success. Together we develop the solutions for the world’s future sustainable and automatized transportation. Main Activities are: * Develop and maintain Jenkins/Bitbucket based SW Factory * Develop and maintain SW Integration pipeline including building SW, running unit tests and Matlab simulations, running HW tests * Lead improvement work in SW Factory area   _______________________________________________________________ Requirements, experiences needed:      * Hands on experience on Continuous Integration and previous experience documented. * Master degree or similar in Embedded Software development with interest and good knowledge in electronics. * Knowledge in programming Python and scripting in Bash or similar. * Knowledge in Jenkins and Groovy. * Advanced knowledge in Git is a plus. * Competences in embedded software architecture, design and verification * Knowledge in programing embedded real time systems in C is a plus * Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written * The work requires skills in both teamwork and individual work, autonomy and ability to work in a team is key. * Open-minded and pro-active, structured and a drive to take the lead is an advantage * Previous Experience in Volvo Powertrain software development will be highly valued.
