Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Construction Manager to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Work On:

• Manage land and construction projects, ensuring progress and coordination with stakeholders.
• Utilize experience in project management and/or construction management for similar projects.
• Handle bill of quantities and navigate contractual frameworks such as AB, ABT, and MORE.
• Participate in construction meetings, coordination meetings, safety rounds, and other relevant gatherings.
• Collaborate closely with the Construction Project Manager to secure project milestones.
• Oversee infrastructure updates, including tramways, storage areas, and railway yard reconstruction.
• Coordinate excavation, rock excavation, stormwater systems, and concrete works.
• Supervise the construction of new tracks, lighting systems, and personnel spaces.
• Lead the erection of central warehouses, tramway expansions, and smaller warehouse constructions.
• Manage the construction of a new hub for additive raw materials, replacing outdated industry functions.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience in project management and/or construction management in land and construction projects.
• Familiarity with bill of quantities and contractual frameworks like AB, ABT, and MORE.
• Ability to be physically on-site 100% during project duration.
• Driven, committed, and cooperative attitude towards project execution.
• Experience as a BAS-U is desirable.
• Industry experience in construction or related fields is preferred.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills to ensure project progress.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and report to the Construction Project Manager effectively.
• Capacity to handle multiple tasks and coordinate with SSAB’s operations for seamless project integration.
