Our mission is to provide the fastest development toolchain in the automotive business for our over 500 Software Developers in the propulsion domain. And by this we can bring new products to the market quicker than our competition. The team you will be working with is a DevOps team with high autonomy and freedom to operate. You are encouraged to find improvements in all areas of SW development and to spend the time to make things right from the start. Some examples of things you could be working with; Software Build Systems, Unit Test Frameworks, Virtual ECUs, Automation scripts, CI/CD improvements, and many other things. The team is working according to the Agile/SCRUM principles with recurring sprint planning’s and a product backlog. The team is an integral part of the larger Software Factory group, also including a Continuous Integration team and a Continuous Delivery team. Here are listed some of the activities done in the team. But the operating area is very large so depending on your preferences and expertise we will have challenging tasks for you: * Advance our development environment to be world class in speed and efficiency * Build Software/Architectural Design and specifications for development environment * Maintain the Existing SW Development Toolchain & Integrate new tools in our SW Factory * Design Software including Architectural Design in C code * Creating or updating existing scripts in Python * Windows configuration and program installation * Matlab and or Targetlink development * Verification of defined technical solutions _______________________________________________________________ Requirements, experiences needed:     * A genuine interest in Software Development and Tools is key * Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written * Experience with development with Matlab & Targetlink is a plus * Knowledge in programming Python and scripting in Bash or similar is a plus * Knowledge in programing embedded real time systems in C is a plus * The work requires skills in both teamwork and individual work, autonomy, and ability to work in a team is key. * Open-minded and pro-active, structured and a drive to take the lead is an advantage * Previous Experience in Automotive propulsion software development will be highly valued We value your data privacy and therefore do not accept applications via mail.  Who we are and what we believe in  Our focus on Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity allows each of us the opportunity to bring our full authentic self to work and thrive by providing a safe and supportive environment, free of harassment and discrimination.
