Your role With Sweden's entry into the NATO alliance, we are now looking for a highly motivated individual to take the reins for Europe and coordinate our IT efforts in this intriguing market. You will be an important part of Saab's Global IT Team looking after Saab IT's footprint in EU and you will be part of the Global IT Management Team. You will report to Head of Global IT. To succeed in this role, we believe that you are an enthusiastic team player with great interpersonal skills. You have a very good understanding of Saab's business in general, with particular focus on IT and IT Security. The nature of the work requires you to be very solution-oriented and independent and with many internal and external contacts. You are expected to have excellent communication skills and are accustomed to cooperate with others. Your work will largely take place in collaboration with your colleagues in the different business area's IT functions, with Saab's central IT organisation and with corresponding functions in other parts of Saab. This position is primarily located in either Linköping, Stockholm or Gothenburg. You will be responsible for: * Providing coordination in the area of IT for all local Saab-business in the EU region. * Coordinating the roll-out of new solution patterns by BA IT or Group IT. * Facilitating local and regional demand management process to secure that all business demands are dispatched and communicated to relevant IT Business Object Owner * Establishing IT risk management and compliance monitoring in cooperation with relevant part. * Continually work to find and realize synergies within the region and with BA IT & Group IT Units. * Ensuring effective support for all IT solutions within the region, from local IT, BA IT & Group IT. * Advocating and supporting all local businesses and local IT delivery team's adherence to Cybersecurity, Information & Quality standards and directives as set forth by Saab​ ​Your profile You possess leadership capabilities and the ability to interact with stakeholders and teams on all levels, providing both clarity and structure as well as being a servant leader. You have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent experience with at least 10+ years in the IT area. Strong emphasis will be placed on personal qualities. Furthermore, you understand industry practice for operational processes and methods (ITIL, DevOps or similar). You have solid experience in IT, and knowledge of different commonly used IT technologies both old and new and a curiosity for upcoming technologies on the horizon like AI and machine learning. Saab has many sites around Europe and you will be expected to travel on a regular basis. Interaction with local vendors and customers are frequent, and travel to Saab's other sites around the world will also be expected. Professional proficiency in both English and Swedish is expected. This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection.
