Job Summary

As a Development Engineer in Materials & Package organisation you will have the opportunity to work with technical challenges in a creative work environment to develop Tetra Pak’s future Packaging Systems. You will belong to the Package Issue Resolution & Quality team within the Materials & Package organisation in D&T.

The position is based in Lund, Sweden, but you will work in a global arena. You might need to travel up to 25% of your time.

What you will do

• Support development teams with specific Package and MMI (Machine Material Interaction) technical competence

• Support package solution development within programs on Issue Resolution related activities

• Support Services on escalated technical issue resolution

• Drive the definition of Verification&Validation strategy related to Package area in Product Development, Technology Development and IR projects, and its execution

• Support definition of test specification, analyse results and draw conclusion using reports

• Execute package and MMI activities according to existing procedures, standards and methods, in partnership with suppliers, specialists and consultants

• Support root cause investigations on package performance and functionality

• Support risk assessments for package, Filling Machines and packaging material

• Support the development & implementation of new procedures, test & validation methods according to requirements, in cooperation with test method owners

• Create, maintain and expand network inside and outside the company

We believe you have

• For this position we believe that you have practical experience in the field with knowledge about automatic machines or packaging in general, and/or a degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical engineering.

• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• We believe you are a good team player, open minded and able to create good relationship on a professional level sharing your knowledge with others, exchanging information, and supporting colleagues to achieve personal and team goals.

• Knowledge about mechanics and electrics, technical drawings and manuals.

• Basic knowledge about PLC software and automation.

• Experience at customer site is considered a plus.

• Experience with Problem Solving and troubleshooting methodologies are considered a plus.

• You have good analytical and drive skills, and can take initiatives managing tasks and activities independently, taking decision within the defined area of responsibility.
