Outokumpu Prefab AB is a specialized subsidiary of Outokumpu Stainless AB and a global leader in manufacturing suction roll shell blanks — advanced, large-scale components for the paper industry. Our production is fully customer‑order driven, with high demands on precision, delivery performance, and workplace safety.

About the Role

As our Production Manager, you will hold the overall responsibility for production performance, leadership, and continuous development. You will report directly to the Managing Director and be part of the local management team.

This is a role for someone who wants to combine strategic influence with hands‑on operational leadership. You will lead approximately 30 employees and play a central role in driving improvements within safety, efficiency, sustainability, quality, and delivery reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and develop the production team to reach targets within health & safety, productivity, quality, cost efficiency, delivery performance, and customer satisfaction
• Take full responsibility for people leadership: workforce planning, competence development, labor relations, and organizational growth
• Drive health and safety work, chair the work environment committee.
• Develop production processes and working methods in close collaboration with Quality, Technology, and Logistics
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, production development, and investment projects that strengthen our long‑term competitiveness

Your Profile

We are looking for an engaged and confident leader with strong technical understanding and a structured, business‑minded approach. You enjoy balancing day‑to‑day operations with long‑term strategic development — and you do so with clarity, communication, and collaboration.

We believe that you have:

• A Master’s degree in Engineering (Materials, Metallurgy, or equivalent)
• Proven leadership and people management experience
• Background from steel, metal, or manufacturing industries
• Ability to see the bigger picture and drive improvements in a structured and systematic way
• A positive, communicative, and inclusive leadership style
• Strong decision-making ability in dynamic environments
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
• Good digital and IT skills
