Assignment Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Category Manager
What You Will Work On
- Own, develop, and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives
- Analyze sourcing and procurement data to identify optimization opportunities
- Drive cost efficiency and long-term value creation initiatives
- Build and manage a competitive and sustainable supplier portfolio
- Improve supplier performance across quality, delivery, cost, sustainability, and technology dimensions
- Lead supplier relationship management and governance activities
- Conduct commercial negotiations and manage supplier agreements
- Secure supply continuity and support long-term capacity planning
- Monitor market developments, pricing movements, and supplier innovation
- Drive proactive supply chain risk management initiatives
- Support engineering change implementation together with technical stakeholders
- Identify sourcing synergies across business areas and categories
- Strengthen procurement maturity and strategic sourcing practices
What You Bring
- Relevant academic degree or equivalent professional experience
- Solid experience within strategic sourcing and category management
- Background from industrial or manufacturing environments
- Proven experience leading supplier negotiations and supplier development initiatives
- Strong analytical capability and experience using sourcing and procurement data
- Good understanding of supplier evaluation and contract management practices
- Experience operating within international and global sourcing organizations
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business and technical functions
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities
- Structured and business-oriented approach to procurement execution
