Are you an experienced leader ready to drive change and build an industry leading R&D Project Office in a global environment? In this role, you will provide agile leadership to foster cross-functional collaboration and efficiency to ensure our Underground division remains competitive and aligned with customer and industry needs.

Your mission
As Global Project Office Manager, your primary responsibility is to secure Epiroc’s global R&D projects in collaboration with your executive team, driving cross-functional teamwork. You will oversee approximately 20 senior project managers located in Sweden, Nashik, Nanjing, and South Africa.
You will champion operational excellence, fostering seamless collaboration and continuous improvement across the Underground division. By developing an industry-leading Project Office, you will optimize resources, streamline governance, and implement best practices that align with Epiroc’s core values and sustainability goals.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Leadership: Build a high-performing team with a focus on coaching, continuous feedback, and development. Foster a collaborative and diverse environment.
* Operational Excellence: Optimize project models, resource allocation, and governance to ensure timely, efficient project delivery.
* Innovation & Strategy: Lead projects in line with Epiroc’s focus on automation, electrification, and digitalization. Cultivate strategic partnerships to stay at the forefront of technology.
* Team Development: Inspire and mentor your team, embedding a culture of excellence, proactive collaboration, and continuous learning.
* Sustainability & Growth: Lead efforts to achieve sustainability goals and support the Underground strategy 2025. Drive continuous improvements in R&D and contribute to the development of new technology solutions.
* Safety: Ensure a Safety Always culture and prioritize safety in all activities.
Your profile
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 10 years of leadership experience, documented change management skills, and an industrial background. Familiarity with R&D tools, methods, and processes is essential. Previous experience leading a project office is highly advantageous, along with knowledge of underground mining applications, products, or managing R&D and cost budgets.

Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. The role involves some international travel.
