Your Role
As a Bioinformatician / Data Scientist, you will collaborate on impactful projects, applying advanced bioinformatics methods to transform diagnostic evaluations and laboratory processes. Your key responsibilities include:
Conducting high-quality diagnostic evaluations using state-of-the-art bioinformatics techniques.
Automating and digitalizing laboratory workflows in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Analyzing and visualizing complex datasets to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
Supporting the implementation of regulatory-compliant diagnostic software.
Translating scientific innovations into practical diagnostic applications through feasibility studies.
Ensuring infrastructure and data storage compliance in partnership with IT teams.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a strong scientific and technical background:
Degree in Bioinformatics, Data Science, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or related fields.
Expertise in data analysis, visualization tools, and software development.
Proficiency in programming languages like Python and R.
Hands-on experience in a genetics-focused lab with familiarity in NGS, PCR, and other molecular diagnostic techniques.
Proficiency in genomic data analysis tools (e.g., GATK, Galaxy, Bioconductor, or similar).
Knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., IVDR, ISO).
Experience in laboratory automation and digital transformation.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for collaborative environments.
