Warehouse Manager to Stryker

OM TJÄNSTEN Academic Work is on account of Stryker looking for a new Warehouse Manager. This is a recruitment which entails that the recruitment process is handled through Academic Work but you will be employed directly by Stryker. As a Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for a team of 10-12 employees and 2 teamleaders. You get the unique opportunity to work in a position close to the business-aspect and will collaborate with the sales function. Furthermore you will be a part of the management team and will visit other warehouse locations around Europe about 5-10 times a year. You will, among other things, be responsible for implementing projects in order to increase customer statisfaction, allocation of resources, and create development plans in cooperation with your team. It is important that you embrace an inclusive and coaching leadership style to support your employees in their development. Furthermore you promote a culture of constant improvement and embrace a service mentality in all communications. Stryker has a well-established introduction programme, consisting of 90 days in order for you to get to know your team, the organization and familiarize with the network. You will also follow the current Warehouse Manager and visit other warehouse locations to support you in your introduction and set a good foundation for your continued development. ARBETSUPPGIFTER * Full HR responsibility for teams and staff * Budget responsibility for the warehouse function in Nordic * Weekly reviews of common KPI's for the warehouse function with teamleaders * Develop processes and logistical flows using LEAN methods * Account for agreements and a safe working environment * Ensure that the requirements for ISO 9000/2000/14001 are met VI SÖKER DIG SOM * At least 5 years' experience of operational and strategic work in warehouse and logistics * At least 5 years' experience in people management and documented management training * Proficient English and Swedish, both spoken and written as this is required by the daily worktasks * Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience working in ERP-systems, such as Oracle and SAP. It will be considered an additional qualification if you have * LEAN trainings * Experience in change management * Previously worked in an international environment * A bachlor or University degree in warehousing and logistics or equivalent As a person you are: * Solutions oriented * Business oriented * Relations oriented Furthermore it is important that you are self-sufficient in your work, have the ability to see what needs to be done and take initiatives.
