About us People Analytics operates within the Global Delivery & Development organization at Volvo Cars. As a member of this function you will have the opportunity to directly influence the people experience at Volvo Cars through creating actionable insights on prioritized talent and organizational challenges using a variety of data sources. You will be an important contributor in our purpose to improve the engagement, wellbeing and productivity of the Volvo Cars workforce – further establishing Volvo Cars as an Employer of Choice through premium people experiences. We are now looking for a Global People Analyst to strengthen our team.  What you’ll do As a Global People Analyst at Volvo Cars, you will have the opportunity to partner with business functions and key stakeholders throughout the organization, helping them solve business critical issues through understanding, analyzing and initiating action on data from a variety of different sources. Using your business acumen, strong communication skills and genuine interest in people, you will take a consultative approach to the project at hand, seeing it from initial inquiry to complete solution and follow-up. You will also: •    Play a key role in the creation of people centric dashboards •    Be using your ability to challenge and constantly develop the People Analytics function  •    Support ad hoc requests for reports and analysis for HRBP’s and other executive sponsors •    Act as a liaison among different stakeholders understanding the benefits and needs in order to co-create the functional design with the team •    Work in an Agile context (SAFe) as part of a dedicated Product team •    Actively support the Product Owner with definition of priorities and ensure information is available at applicable level of detail.  You and your skills We believe you have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Human Resources or Business and around 8 years of experience within a relevant field. You have extensive experience from project/product management, as well as the skills and expertise to continuously develop new methodology in People Analytics. If you have experience from various other roles within HR, that is considered a great advantage. Your passion lies in driving actions through data and predictive modelling, combined with a strong will to collaborate and the ability to successfully partner with non–analysts to drive improved outcomes for the business through analytics.  You thrive in a rapidly changing environment where your problem-solving and project management skills contribute to the continual development of the role, function and organization. Since this is a global role, your communication skills in English are absolutely vital. As a person, you want to continue to grow and learn, and you put great emphasis on building trustful relationships inside the organization.
